Sample preparation For DNA-preparation the use of SureFast® PREP Bacteria or SureFast® PREP Aqua is recommended. To assess the process of bacterial growth, it is recommended to compare the samples at the beginning and at the end of the culturing (bacterial growth at Cp difference >3).
Detection limit​ The SureFast® Escherichia coli PLUS real-time PCR has a limit of detection of 5 DNA copies.
Cross reactivity Cross reactivity was observed with DNA extracts from Shigella spp..
